What are the characteristics of a strong family? The research points to several consistent characteristics that lead to the development of strong families. We will introduce you to these characteristics and give you the opportunity to think about and work on building strength and fostering wellness within your own family.

Margot Rutledge, the founder of KidsWin, is an accomplished facilitator, trainer and coach. Prior to founding KidsWin, she worked for national workforce development firms and training organizations in the capacity of sales, operations, trainer and coach. Her passion is to help young people develop a high sense of self-efficacy and the skills necessary to lead successful and purposeful lives. In addition to her more recent work as a facilitator and coach, she has a background in nutrition counseling, a degree in Foods and Nutrition and became a Registered Dietitian following a Dietetic and Nutrition Internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Erika Jackson received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Otterbein College and a Master's Degree in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University. She has expertise in both individual and team performance improvement, having coached professionals at large public and private organizations on issues such as leader, team, and career development. Erika is also a consultant, instructional designer, group facilitator, and conflict mediator. She has completed The Coaches Training Institute's Advanced Co-Active Coaching courses and is a member of the International Coach Federation, CoachVille, the International Society for Performance Improvement, the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
